Yin Yoga and Meditation Workshop - March 2020

This yin yoga course will give you the knowledge and experience to conduct a safe and enjoyable yin yoga flow. Through the time spent with the facilitators, you will learn the dynamics, history, and philosophy of yin yoga. You will learn the foundations of yin yoga giving you a clear understanding of the basic science, as well as the general application of, and general alignment within, yin poses. You will gain deeper understanding of tapping into the subtle energy body in yin poses.

You will cover topics such as the properties of the five elements through the asanas. You will loosen your joints, clear toxins, and by relaxing the active mind you will find greater ability to connect with your intuition. Within the yin asanas you will learn grounding meditations and visualizations to improve health and balance emotions. You will come away with the ability to teach this to your students in an engaging and loving way.

Through personal experience, lecture, interactive discussion, and asanas using props you will come to understand the deep transformation possible through yin yoga. This course is 16 hours and CEUs available for those already RYT200 or above. It is 2 days of course work, with an option to add in Restorative Yoga for another 8 hours (and CEUs) Friday, and/or join in some of the YTT200hr classes while with us Thursday and Friday. This weekend Workshop allows students can also enjoy relaxing biking to the beach and Downtown Boca Raton, and evening hanging by the pool and hot tub making this an enjoyable retreat de-compressing, enjoying getting to know the other students Thursday evening and Friday in-between class times. Yin course work is covered all day Saturday and Sunday.

  • Certificate of Completion Zen Dens Restorative Yoga Workshop is recognized as a Yoga Alliance Continuing Education Provider (YACEP)
  • 16 Continuing Education Contact Hours (CEUS) towards Yoga Alliance can be applied for Registered Yoga Teachers.
  • 8 hours (CEUs) of Restorative Yoga workshop can also be added in conjunction with this Yin Yoga workshop. (no added fee unless you are not staying with us)
