Jen Whaley

Jen Whaley, RYT-200, is a Michigan transplant who moved to Florida seven years ago in search of warmer weather, sunshine, and adventure. She spent five years practicing as an emergency medicine physician assistant in Key West before her study of yoga and eastern philosophy started pulling her away from the western grind. She spent time hiking on the Appalachian Trail as well as sailing in the Caribbean islands before acquiring her 200-hour certification in April 2017. Since then, Jen has had experience in both practicing and teaching meditation, pranayama, vinyasa, hatha, yin, restorative, and stand up paddleboard yoga. She has now returned to Zen Den and joined the team as the instructor for our stand up paddleboard yoga teacher trainings! She is excited to share her passion and knowledge of varying aspects of health and wellness with her students, allowing them to integrate varied and changing philosophies into their personal practice to become their best selves. A teacher but always a student first, she loves to learn from each student in each class what it truly means to practice yoga.
